Check Your Network in Real Time with Network Traffic Monitor

We live in a new era of data consumption. Pretty much everything nowadays requires data connectivity. Users are video chatting and streaming various media, TVs come with WiFi, and there are all of these mobile devices begging for connectivity. It’s no surprise that some households have 10+ devices connected via WiFi. Unless you live in Kansas, your Internet may struggle under overwhelming load. There is now an app that lets you monitor your network in real time.

XDA Forum Member fly258131421 has posted an application called Network Traffic Monitor. It is a pretty cool application that allows a user to check out what’s going on with their network. The features include:

1: C, G network traffic monitoring
2: WLAN traffic monitoring
3: Real-time flow rate display
4: floating window multiple parameter settings
5: support traffic statistics
6: The floating window can be transparent, can change color, variable styles
7: The floating window can be any drag
8: Batch Uninstall / uninstall (silently requires root)
9: Application flow statistics (need 2.2 and above)
10: wisecrack function
11: engineering mode and fieldtest of shortcut entrance
12: system API statistics, improve compatibility (2.2 and above)

If you have a lot of Internet traffic going, this could be a great application to make sure things aren’t going out of control. Also, if you are facing some particularly peculiar lag problems, this app can help identify why. So far, users are reporting that it works flawlessly and are calling it a truly useful tool.
