DDT WVGA Theme for Weatherpanel 2010 Updated

There are many weather applications out there for WM, but none of them is as versatile as Weatherpanel. The app can be, with some patience and graphic skills, skinned to your heart’s desire. In fact, thanks to XDA member Rumball members that did not have devices equipped with TouchFlo 3D were still able to experience the “animated weather” thanks to his countless hours of work on icons and theme for this program. Rumball’s work lives once again through the work of XDA member Dunc001 in his theme called DDT. Lots of work has gone into this project and the results pretty much speak for themselves.

So, if you are tired of the same old Sense weather tab, give this application a go. You will not be disappointed.

Well here it is, finally! What started out as three of us playing about with basic layouts and text colours has morphed into 6 weeks worth of work in my spare time creating from scratch a completely new WVGA theme for Weatherpanel. Every layout has been written from scratch, pretty much every icon, background, transition, etc has been created specifically for DDT (except the actual weather icons which is a modified set of Rumball’s static Diamond VGA icons as they are without doubt the best weather icon set out there) and this is the result – we hope you like it!

You can find more information in the application thread.

Galaxy Unpacked: What is Samsung Going to Unveil?

Amidst all the hype of the OnePlus 2 and the rain of Moto 2015 news, Samsung tried stealing the limelight back to itself by announcing their next "Galaxy Unpacked" event, which will be held on August 13th 2015. Arrow Launcher: Good Effort Without Direction

Microsoft’s Android expansion has been well received on the productivity front, but not so much in terms of original applications. While their Office suite managed to bring some of the document-editing excellence to mobile, attempts at entering one’s interface through apps like Picturesque proved to be pointless failures. But even then, some apps like Hyperlapse redeem the computing giant through great quality. Microsoft seems to be approaching Android with brute, misdirected development and plenty of unorganized output, and if they want...
