Demolish Your Enemies with Tanktastic

For those of you who can only be described as the reason why FPS games exist, there is nothing more satisfying than the sight of a fragged adversary. The sole thought of opening fire with your BFG against anything that moves likely gives you sweaty palms and an urge to be in front of your PC. Nothing, absolutely nothing compares to the thought of grabbing your favorite weapon and diminishing the population of your adversaries. Well, nothing except maybe a larger weapon that has more devastating power than the last. What better item to fit the description than a tank? With this in mind, XDA Forum Member Romeo Ordos brings us a very interesting game for the aforementioned FPS fan.

Tanktastic, as its name boldly suggests, is a FPS game where you are in control of a tank, which can be upgraded via modules to increase things like firepower, speed, acceleration, armor, and more. The game is entirely made with pleasing 3D graphics. Furthermore, it is an online multiplayer game, which means that you get to try and shoot down other people rather than a computer with poor AI. The game is under somewhat heavy development at the moment, but the dev states that they are constantly working towards adding more features. Currently, there are two game modes, several maps to choose from, and support for 5 languages

Lastly, one of the interesting points of this is that it is also compatible with iOS and Windows Phone, which means that you can finally claim that your device’s specific OS will have an unfair advantage over the other. So, what are you waiting for? If you feel like blowing stuff up, now is your chance to do it. Please feel free to suggest new features for the dev, and be sure to check the list of upcoming features in the OP

Fantastic tank battles with Tanktastic! Free massively multiplayer 3D online game for Android in your pocket.

Kirin: A Processor the Western World Should Look Out For

Yesterday, we discussed the second part of our tech giants coming to the west series with Huawei. What people may not know, however, is that Huawei owns a company by the name of HiSilicon. In the coming years, manufacturers such as Qualcomm may have to face the fact that there are other companies just as able...
