Desire HD Touch Input Extracted For HTC Desire
If you’ve been lusting after the HTC Desire HD and all the extra features it has, then you’ll be pleased to hear you can get one step closer with your HTC Desire, with the Desire HD input, recently posted by XDA forum member KennyDumah.
Note that this is just an extraction and not a port, so it won’t work on other devices. However, it should work on most ROM’s for the HTC Desire.
You can flash it via Recovery without wiping – although this only works with RCMix HD App2SD + v0.15. The alternative method is to unzip and install the HTC_IME.apk through adb with the install command.
