Don’t Know How to Logcat? Try Logcat Tool

As we’ve discussed before, logcats can be invaluable to all development. It lets developers know what isn’t working, why it isn’t working, and allows them to take a more targeted approach to fixing such problems. The only issue is that many users who test software don’t know how to pull a logcat. There are some tools available out there to help simplify the process, but the more the merrier.

With that, Logcat Tool was born. Inspired by the post made by XDA Forum Moderator paxChristos, which is reachable via the link above, XDA Forum Member FuzzyMeep Two has developed a little app that will pull a logcat for you. This, along with the already existing apps that do the same thing, gives users even more options to get logcats and help their favorite developers out with debugging.

The tool is pretty simple to use. Upon opening, users are asked to input the path to their Android SDK. Afterward there’s a simple menu set up with several options on pulling and storing logcats.
