Droid X has been Rooted!
Yep, you did not misread the title. The newly released Motorola Droid X has been successfully rooted as per a Tweet found by XDA member zanix. The developer known as mrweeeedbirdman over at Alldroid.org seems to be responsible for this feat and he mentioned in his Twitter page that he will put up a guide shortly for people to join into the legions of rooted Android devices. There isn’t an awful lot to flash onto the X yet, but expect to see something really soon.
