Easy Method To Change Framework-res.apk
If you find that you need to change your framework-res.apk often (maybe you theme a lot or just generally do a lot of tweaking), then XDA forum member propc has created a useful shell script that you might want to check out.
You’ll need root access and BusyBox installed. All you need to do is copy framework-res.apk that you wish to apply, to the root of your SD, extract reframe.zip to your SD card root and type in a command.
Upon reboot, your phone will have framework-res.apk replaced safely. The original framework-res.apk will be backed up as ‘framework-res.apk.orig’ in /sdcard.
For more information and to download the script, check out the forum thread.
