Introducing XDA’s Phone Review: Reviews from the Poweruser’s Point of View

Choosing your next phone isn’t always very easy. To help you out, we have started this series of articles, in which we review phones supported by XDA. Now you might think: aren’t there enough phone reviews and comparisons out there? Well, although these reviews might be good enough for most novice users, there are also users that want that extra bit of information about development, customization, performance and XDA support. Perhaps you are one of those. Then you’re a poweruser. And powerusers want more.

Thanks to our experience on the forums, and the experience of the members themselves, we are able to provide you that extra bit of information. We’ll investigate in the current development of the phone, whether you will get enough support, if the phone’s performance is decent enough, and more. But we’ll also look to the future. Will it be better to wait for another upcoming phone? Will the activity on the forums increase or decrease?

Ultimately, we hope we will provide you with the information you need, so you can buy your phone with confidence.
So what new phone would you like to see reviewed first?  The only requirement is that the phone needs to have a home here on XDA. Let us know in the comments below!
