The Weekly Q&A

Every week, we select five questions and answers, found on the forums. Even though some of these questions and answers might not be of help for you, they might still be interesting to read.
Q ‘I recently got an unlimited data plan through Verizon, while my internet and map searches work well, my phone (Vogue) cannot get any GPS satellites. I’ve changed the baud rate several times but still nothing. I am using NFSFAN’s WinMo 6.5 from October I think. Anyone have any suggestions?’
A GPS in the Vogue is not the greatest, but it works when it feels like it. Aside from changing the baud rate (which should be left at 4800 for the Vogue), you need to make sure that your device is on a radio 3.xx.xxx or higher. Also, make sure that whatever app you use, is configured for COM4. Lastly, make sure that location is tuned on. It may take a while for the Vogue to get a lock on satellites, but it works eventually.
