First Froyo Build for the Vogue Hits the Forum
You may remember an article which talks about Froyo being successfully ported to the Vogue by XDA member dzo (in case you don’t, here is the link). The build was plain and without the usual amount of stuff that we are used to seeing in our devices, but it was Froyo nevertheless. Seeing this, XDA member incubus26jc, who is responsible for bringing us many other Android builds and tools for the Vogue, has released the first “loaded” release of Froyo for the device. As previously pointed out, there are several things that are still not functional (like the camera, BT, or GPS), but it seems that the device can make and receive calls among other features that may make it good enough for daily use. The dev also mentioned that RLS2 will be up soon, which will include a third party app for the camera.
This is DZO’s work. I cant really take Credit for it. I just added some goodies and modifications to make this a little better and faster.
Thanks to DZO for everything and also allowing me to use his build as a base. Without him, This version of android would not be possible.
If he adds anymore fixes to his build, I will update accordingly
You will need the latest Eclair Kernel For this build.

For starters, the mentioned phones are amongst the more value centric Android smartphones, aiming to offer a better deal in terms of specifications and an overall package, than their domestic and foreign competitors in the Indian market.
