Fre3vo / Fre3dom Official Thread – Temp Root for EVO 3D
EVo 3D and Sensation owners wanting to access a root shell on their devices can now do so via Fre3vo – a temp-root acquiring tool, presented by #teamwin and posted by XDA Recognised Developer agrabren.
Along with Fre3vo will come Fre3dom, which is the name of the tool being developed to enable S-OFF on the EVO 3 D and Sensation.
Please note that Fre3vo provides temporary root access (i.e. a reboot will lose root) and that the system partition is nand-protected (on the EVO 3D), so writes won’t stick for long and there will be issues getting tools like Titanium Backup to work.
For further information and to download Fre3vo, head on over to the official thread.
