The LG G4 has a lot to prove, given that last year’s LG G3 was among the best smartphones of 2014. Goodies Extracted and Ported from Xperia Play
Our ever growing list of add-ons and UI elements to make our devices unique keeps growing as time goes by. Sometimes, making them unique means to take things from several different places and combining them into one. XDA member myth999 started a thread with the extraction of the upcoming Sony Xperia Play’s PSP classic live wallpaper. But it seems that this thread has evolved into something else. You will find in the following posts to the opening post, some of Sony’s UI elements being extracted and with the ability to be installed in other devices running a minimum of Froyo (Android 2.2) or later. One of such apps is Timescape, which is classic to most Xperia devices. This is supposed to work fine for most devices running Froyo or over, but you will need to modify your build.prop to make the system think that your device is actually a SE device. The latest revision of the app has fixes for devices with LDPI screens.
If you find this useful or if you have anything that you may want to add, please be sure to let the dev know by posting some feedback.

You can find more information in the original thread.

A lot of the time, the applications' source code isn't even available, so how does it all work? We'll see that first, then take a look at a new tool that aims to make the process much easier, and finally compare it to the popular Xposed framework to see how they...
