Hide Personal Texts with Private Message Filter v0.1 for Windows Mobile
XDA member mohitsapru has just released the first version of his newest application, which allows you to separate and password-protect SMS messages that contain sensitive information from the others in your inbox.
Unlike existing alternatives, mohitsapru’s new solution to the problem of having your text messages easily available to be read by your nosey friends intercepts the messages before they are even stored on your phone’s inbox. Instead, messages containing specific content or from specific contacts (as defined by lists you make from within the application) are stored in a secure folder elsewhere on the device, which may only be accessed by those who know the correct password. The app should also be faster and simpler than what’s currently available, and works so immediately that there shouldn’t even be a notification pop-up when such a message is received.
To download the .CAB, head to the original thread where you can also find a guide to installing and running the app for the first time.
