Unfortunately there was a memory leak in Android 5.0.x Lollipop. Thankfully it was fixed in Android 5.1. However, at the time of this video Xposed Framework doesn’t have Android 5.1 support. So you are faced with a choice of fixing the memory leak or running your Xposed Modules. Or are you? In this episode of XDA Xposed Tuesday, XDA TV Producer TK reviews an Xposed Module that adds the Android 5.1 memory fix to pre 5.1 Lollipop devices. The module...
HTC Incredible S Port for HTC EVO and DInc Now Available!
When the best just keeps getting better, one can’t do anything other than watch in awe as it happens. One of the newly announced devices from HTC, the Incredible S, has had a dumped RUU for a couple of days now. Our devs, in their eternal quest for perfection decided that it would be a fun project trying to port this new dump onto other devices. XDA members myn and incubus26jc, who are largely recognized for their work on the Vogue, Incredible, and EVO were successful in porting this onto the HTC EVO 4G and the HTC Incredible. Needless to say, the ports are far from complete as many things still need work, like 4G, HDMI, camera, and a few other things, in the case of the EVO.
This new RUU comes loaded with a few updated goodies such as HTC Kernel #15, so if you don’t mind the non-working parts of the rom, you can take it for a test drive. Keep in mind, that this is in very early development stages, so if you believe that you can be of assistance to the devs, please be sure to leave detailed feedback on the thread to try and improve this port.
This is a port of the HTC Incredible S RUU for the HTC Droid Incredible and HTC Evo 4G.
This is a community driven ROM. It’s development is open to any willing contributors at
To become a contributor you will need to send wdfowty a PM asking him.
Also, if you want to branch this off and start your own device port, you are more than welcome to.
We have an IRC channel set up. ##inc-s-base @ irc.freenode.com feel free to join us in there.
This will remain an unthemed ROM. It is far easier to use the built in theming and as time progresses and this becomes a more mature ROM we will look into adding them.
You can find more information in the port thread.

The LG G4 has a lot to prove, given that last year’s LG G3 was among the best smartphones of 2014. The Global Mobile Awards given out during the time of MWC 2015 named it the Smartphone of The Year (SOTY?) alongside the iPhone 6, and at the time of its release it packed the very best in Android specifications, from the powerful Snapdragon 801 to the class-leading 1440p display. The camera, battery life and feature set were also deemed...
You've probably seen or installed modified applications, be it a patched dialer for your resolution or a custom WhatsApp version with added features. How do developers do that, though? A lot of the time, the applications' source code isn't even available, so how does it all work? We'll see that first, then take a look at a new tool that aims to make the process much easier, and finally compare it to the popular Xposed framework to see how they...
