Smartphone cameras have advanced so tremendously over the past few years that they have almost completely replaced point and shoot digital cameras for the most of us. Furthermore, since our smartphones are always with us, the majority of us end up taking tons of photos throughout the lifespan of our devices. But what happens to all the old photos you take? Do you store them on an external hard-drive or keep them backed up to an online cloud service like Flickr? Let us know what your favorite way of storing old photos is and why.
HTC Incredible S Port for HTC EVO and DInc Now Available!
When the best just keeps getting better, one can’t do anything other than watch in awe as it happens. One of the newly announced devices from HTC, the Incredible S, has had a dumped RUU for a couple of days now. Our devs, in their eternal quest for perfection decided that it would be a fun project trying to port this new dump onto other devices. XDA members myn and incubus26jc, who are largely recognized for their work on the Vogue, Incredible, and EVO were successful in porting this onto the HTC EVO 4G and the HTC Incredible. Needless to say, the ports are far from complete as many things still need work, like 4G, HDMI, camera, and a few other things, in the case of the EVO.
This new RUU comes loaded with a few updated goodies such as HTC Kernel #15, so if you don’t mind the non-working parts of the rom, you can take it for a test drive. Keep in mind, that this is in very early development stages, so if you believe that you can be of assistance to the devs, please be sure to leave detailed feedback on the thread to try and improve this port.
This is a port of the HTC Incredible S RUU for the HTC Droid Incredible and HTC Evo 4G.
This is a community driven ROM. It’s development is open to any willing contributors at
To become a contributor you will need to send wdfowty a PM asking him.
Also, if you want to branch this off and start your own device port, you are more than welcome to.
We have an IRC channel set up. ##inc-s-base @ irc.freenode.com feel free to join us in there.
This will remain an unthemed ROM. It is far easier to use the built in theming and as time progresses and this becomes a more mature ROM we will look into adding them.
You can find more information in the port thread.

Before the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop, the Holo Design guidelines served as the official reference for Android design, right from IceCream Sandwich to KitKat. However, updates to the guidelines were few and far between, leading to a lack of synchronization between Android design and current UI/UX trends. Google seems to have learned from their mistake the last time around, and earlier this week, a significant update was released for the Material Design guidelines, marking the second revision in less...
New Privacy concerns have emerged regarding Cyanogen’s latest announcements, primarily the inclusion of email app Boxer and that of a multitude of Microsoft apps, including Bing services, Skype, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, and Microsoft Office. The concerns arise when you look at both announcements together. At face value they may appear to be the beginning of Cyanogen’s plan to “take Android away from Google,” however there is certainly something more nefarious occurring. Along side the partnership with Microsoft, Cyanogen also recently announced...
