LED Flashlight for HTC Desire
If you are an HTC Desire owner and are frustrated with the lack of a real LED flashlight on your device, then this is the app for you. Originally starting off as a request, XDA forum member Damunix has managed to write an app to make use of the camera LED on the HTC Desire!

To follow the development and join in the discussion, check out the application thread.
