MotoACTV Tweak Pack

Earlier today, we talked about a slick addon for the Sony LiveView by XDA Forum Member jkok that allows you to shutdown and reboot your rooted Android smartphone from your Sony LiveView smartwatch. Why should LiveView users have all the fun, though? Luckily, jkok also compiled a handful of tweaks for the MotoACTV into one easy-to-use modification pack.

Included in jkok’s mod pack for the MotoACTV are the fantastic ViPER4Android Audio Effects Engine, USB Enabler, an ad-blocking hosts file, and many more. In the near future, jkok intens on adding even more tweaks created by other forum members such as ClearD’s gallery+livewallpaper ZIP and .IRS files for Viper4Android’s convolver.

It is important to keep in mind that while jkok compiled these tweaks for the MotoACTV, he did not create them. That said, having many relevant tweaks all in one easy-to-use place can’t hurt. Head over to the original thread to get started.

Tactile: An Addicting Game with Beautiful Material Design

The game industry has been around for decades, catering to a wide spectrum of people, young gamers and elder ones, casual gamers and serious ones, and for an industry with such specifications, innovation isn't the only fuel for success. An increasingly large number of games draw inspiration from another and build on top of that idea, and Tactile is one such product, an excellently executed brainchild of a mashup between Tetris and 2048. For 2048 veterans, the game will come across as relatively familiar....

Android’s Consistency and The User Experience

This is a site of power users, and it is fair to say that most of us are more knowledgeable about Android than the average Joe. We tinker and tweak by customizing every corner for endless hours, until we arrive at a comfortable software configuration. In contrast, a large chunk of Android users don’t even use a different launcher - and many don’t know what a launcher is in the first place!   When we get so involved in our...
