Motorola Droid 2 Finally Rooted

If you recently bought Verizon’s latest addition to the Droid world, the Droid 2, then this is something you were probably waiting for. Root was finally achieved and XDA member karnovaran has posted a very nice and comprehensive guide on how to do it. The root was achieved by Sebastian Krahmer and has brought joy to many in the short time that it has been out. One quick word of advice though, recovery for the Droid 2 has not yet been perfected, so you may want to hold off a bit before you start tweaking every aspect of your Droid 2.

The guide can be found in the tutorial thread. Make sure that you keep a close eye on it for any changes.

Thanks to jcatt for the tip.

I/O Summary: Google Photos App

At I/O 2015, Google tackled the information problem in mobile once more, this time through pictures: “how incredible is it that we all have a camera in our pockets at any moment? (...)
