New Android Build With Sense 2.1 Available for Vogue

Last week I wrote an article about xda member incubus26jc, and how he is helping Vogue owners to mod their Donut builds with additional Widgets, as well as skinning them by mixing and matching components. He’s back with something new and refreshing for the Vogue. Based on the work by xda member mssmison, he’s released an Android version of his own for the Vogue. This version is based on a Hero build and, yes, you guessed it:Sense 2.1 interface, including live wallpapers! Currently, it’s at Release 2, so it’s bound to become a top release really quick.

This is my very first attempt at releasing an actual build. I’m used to doing themes but not releasing builds. So I hope that I can live up to the standards of mssmison and myn. Its a Work in Progress. This is the first build on any phone to ever have Sense with Live wallpapers thanks to mssmison Remember, Hero Is a much more powerful Phone than the vogue. So keep that in mind when comparing to donut.

Release 2 Changes

  • Fixed Most Homescreen Reloads(still reloads with market and browser sometimes)
  • Fixed Incoming Calls Crash(waiting for mssmison’s fix for slow incoming calls)
  • More Speed and Stability
  • Added New Boot Animation
  • Added New Clear Background HTC Keyboard
  • Added Autokiller
  • Added Spare Parts
  • Added Gallery 3D
  • Added Facebook
  • Added 3 Music Player
  • Added Internal And External Storage Space Widgets
  • Removed Touch Sensors(causing crashes)

Please follow the development of this build in the development thread.

Whenever Apple launches a new product or service, it definitely manages to grab the attention of all. Whether you love the company and or its products, or you hate it, there's no denying that Apple does make more people interested in things, old or new. As smartphone designs become more and more complex, self-repairs on devices are also becoming more complicated. Unibody handsets like HTC's One flagship series can sometimes be a nightmare to repair if the person doesn't have much experience. That, of course, all depends on the device you are attempting to repair though. So, how many of you do self-repairs on your devices? Let us know why or why not in the comments below.

Sony Z4 Slips Out of Top 5 Smartphones in Japan

In a bid to streamline its flagship series which had been losing credibility over the past few years due to their 6 month release cycles, Sony announced that releases would be pushed back to the standard duration of one year instead. When Sony's 2015 flagship was unveiled as the Z4 in Japan and the Z3+ across the rest of the world, enthusiasts everywhere expected things to take a turn for the better, in lieu of the aforementioned announcement. However, two months...
