In a world of 12GB RAM and 1TB storage flagships, the Nokia 1 Plus stands out by being the exact opposite. The Nokia 1 Plus is the phone that people buy to transition from a feature phone to a smartphone, or for those looking to get an inexpensive spare phone.

The Nokia 1 Plus comes with Android Pie - Go Edition - Google's special version of Android, optimized for low specification devices. This allows apps to be smaller by as much as 50% and allow up to 60% data consumption savings. The phone also comes with full Google Assistant support. The phone sports a polycarbonate build with interchangeable back panels.

HMD Global has also integrated a notification light within the power button.

HMD Global is also guaranteeing that the Nokia 3.2 will receive updates to Android Q as well as to Android R, as well as 3 years of security update. No timeline commitment has been made, but since the phone launches with Android Pie, users should have nothing to complain about for quite some time.
