NOTEify Lets You Set and View Rich Contact Notes while in Calls
In most professional industries, networking is an unavoidable aspect of everyday life. Whether you’re trying to make a sale or simply want to make your coworkers feel more comfortable, properly executed networking generally tends to make things go a bit smoother. For the uninitiated, one of the most important aspects of networking is remembering certain key details that are shared with you. But with many contacts, this can quickly grow to become overwhelmingly difficult.
There are quite a few techniques and tools available to help you better remember important details about your work contacts. For example, you could manually keep a journal of key information or store these facts on their business cards in your Rolodex—that is if anyone even remembers what a Rolodex is. But of course, manually writing things down is a bit too last century for most of us here on XDA. And let’s face it, reading details from the back of a business card isn’t exactly the easiest way of getting information. Plus, there are countless other things that we’d like to keep track of in addition to contact details.
Luckily, XDA Forum Member mdmdmd27 created a handy application called NOTEify that lets you keep track of important information both in and out of calls. For example, one of the app’s main features allows you to create and view per-contact notes when in a call such as in the screenshot to the right. You can also view a contact’s full details while in a conversation. Moreover, if you are calling a new number, you can enter the full details and create notes while in the call itself. Once out of the call and in the app itself, you can view and modify existing notes or create new entries on a per-contact basis. And in the app, all of the entries are displayed in a sorted list to keep things organized.
If you’ve ever wanted a better way to take notes and keep track of contact details, head over to the application thread to get started.
