Oppo Back as Sponsor at XDA:DevCon ’14
2013 was a big year for Chinese manufacturer Oppo. Early in the year they became the first Chinese OEM to honor their obligations to the Linux kernel source by posting their GPLv2-licensed kernel for the Find5. Then they freely and willingly opened up to the developer community through a partnership with XDA, which ultimately led to CM’s release of CyanogenMod on the Oppo N1. And finally, at the end of 2013, they sponsored our first developer conference in Miami, FL.
After the warm reception Oppo received at xda:devcon ’13, they were so excited about our next iteration that they were the first to contact us and inquire about sponsoring xda:devcon ’14. So it is with great pleasure that we announce that Oppo will be sponsoring xda:devcon ’14 in Manchester, UK. To join Oppo and the rest of the attendees at xda:devcon, make sure to register before the Early Bird pricing runs out!
