Partial Root of Desire Z Now Available
XDA member kholk has posted a guide to obtain partial root for the Desire Z (aka HTC Vision). While this will not allow you to flash any custom roms just yet (not that there are any available at the moment), it allows users and devs alike to start playing with the device in the way it was originally intended. This method was also tested on the G2 (which is the US counterpart of the Desire Z) and also proven to be working.
Now that partial root has been found, the full root and ability to flash custom roms in this brand new device seems a lot closer to our grasp.
