Poll: Vote for Your Favourite MIUI ROM Slogan

If you’re at all familiar with MIUI roms, you’ll know that they really are, in the words of Chad Hughes, ‘the closest things to an Android OS replacement’. So, taking that into account, when we found out that XDA member vividmiui, an MIUI developer from the China team, created a poll to find out which slogan was the most popular, the idea of making something that was already cool even cooler made me a bit giddy.

There are seven slogans on the poll, however, the team is seemingly open to the idea of receiving suggestions.

[ROM] Please vote for the best solgan for MIUI ROM!

Hey everyone,

I’m from MIUI Developer Team in China. We’re now collecting an English Slogan for MIUI ROM, which of the following do you think is the best?
Or you can tell us your idea.

  1. MIUI, Make Android Your Own
  2. MIUI, Android Your Own
  3. MIUI, Android on steroid
  4. MIUI, Android the next dimension
  5. MIUI, the future of Android
  6. MIUI, Re-define Android
  7. MIUI, Android Evolved!

The results of the poll are currently a little mixed, so let’s go and really pump things up! If you want your say to be counted, head on over to the original thread and vote.

The Curious Case Of The Flash Sale

What do the horses in the Xiaomi stable, notably the Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 & Redmi Note 4G have in common with the YU Yureka or the Micromax Canvas Spark, or even the Lenovo A6000 and the A7000? For starters, the mentioned phones are amongst the more value centric Android smartphones, aiming to offer a better deal in terms of specifications and an overall package, than their domestic and foreign competitors in the Indian market.
