Remove Vibrate on Hero Call Connect

If you’re looking for a way to get rid of the vibrate when your call connects on your HTC Hero CDMA, then check out a little mod by XDA forum member JsChiSurf.

Whilst tinkering around with the Phone.apk, JsChiSurf decided to remove the ‘vibrate’ that occurs right after you ‘send’ a call as well as the ‘end call’ soft key.

Not only that, but JsChiSurf’s mod also includes a little resizing tweak to the green in-call icon that appears in the taskbar whilst you’re on the dog-and-bone (that’s phone to all you non-Londoners).

If you like the ‘end call’ soft key but still want to get rid of that annoying vibrate, JsChiSurf has also catered for you and has kindly provided a separate signed zip for you to flash to your beloved Hero.

For more information and to download the zip files, visit the forum thread.
