Revolutionary S-Off, HTC’s Lie, and Microsoft’s Twitter War with Google [Weekly Recap]

On this episode of XDA TV, Azrienoch lays out the many wonderful developments this week made possible by Unrevoked’s and AlphaRevX’s Revolutionary S-Off tool, like Teamwin’s Recovery Project, xHausx’s work on a new EVO 3D hboot, and TrevE’s work getting the EVO 3D into a download mode where a new hboot might be flashed. Also recapped are three new device forums, and egzthunder1’s 1000th article on the Portal. Then SassiBoB reviews a very odd app called Pocket Girlfriend. And–aren’t you lucky–you get two rants this week. The first wraps up HTC’s locked bootloader soap opera. The second is a summary of the humorous exchange between Google and Microsoft on Twitter. Azrienoch offers yet another solution to the patent wars–this one to be taken as seriously as software patents themselves. Click on for the episode!
