Samurai vs Zombies Defense Game Released for Android

Tower defense games seem to be on the rise lately. The reason behind it is anyone’s guess, but it probably has something to do with the simplicity of the genre and virtually infinite number of creatures, races, and other things to pit against one another. In any case, the addition that is tower defense can be sated in many different ways.

XDA Senior Member TheOneBD brings us news of  Samurai vs Zombies, which features a fun and unique mixture of characters. In the words of Glu Mobile:

Play as the heroic Samurai and defend your village against hordes of attacking zombies! Recruit allies and build defenses to stop them!

STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY: set up your defenses against hordes of zombies!
WORK WITH ALLIES: get some help in the store with farmers, warriors, archers and much more!
WIN BIG IN MINI GAMES: play Pachinko to earn rare items!
UPGRADE YOUR SAMURAI: Become more powerful by acquiring better weapons, defenses and magical abilities!

The game features your basic tower defense concepts, including building up your defenses to destroy hoards of zombies and leveling up your defenses and weapons to more effectively dispatch the already dead. The game also includes the ability to get help from a variety of professions, including farmers, archers and warriors. Plus, there’s mini games that give you rare items. One of the mini games is Pachinko and everyone knows Pachinko is pure win.

Samurai vs Zombies is free on the Android Market for anyone who wants to try it, and you can check out the application thread for additional info and download links for those too impatient to wait for the SD data to download.
