Swype Becomes an Official App for the EVO
If you are an EVO user and you like Swype, then you will be glad to hear that Swype has been included in the latest OTA for the EVO. The thread started by XDA member vide infra contains the full RUU and change log for the latest Supersonic OTA update. What this means, in essence, is that the EVO joins the list of devices that are approved to have Swype included in roms. Still, our stance on Swype is the same as before. Distribution of Swype by any other means than roms for OEM licensed devices is prohibited on xda-developers.
So, find your favorite rom and see if has been blessed with this keyboard already.
You can find more information in the OTA thread.
