Graphics can be hard to come by if you don’t have any money. Either they cost a lot and look really cool or they cost nothing, look really cool but the artist is up to their eye balls in requests.

To help take the load of the free graphics artists, XDA Member Xperiment2012 has started a thread where members can order up free custom graphics. Why, you may ask? Says Xperiment2012:

I am making free GFX for anyone who wants one. I am not a PRO and this is mainly an entertaining way for me to practice and also offer a service to the community. If you would like one please fill out the form below and I’ll get on theme ASAP. If you do not like what is done please give me ideas on how to improve it so you do.

Pros come from people who aren’t pros who practice often, and this being XDA, there will likely be a nice variety of graphics for Xperiment2012 to make. The order form is relatively simple:

Size:
Color Scheme:
Text:
Secondary Text:
Renders:
Examples: (Optional)
Anything else:

So if you’ve been looking for a cool graphic for your ROM, or for your signature or if you just want some cool graphics, you can hit up the original thread to place your request.

Android is the embodiment of that state of constant innovation and customization. Features such as the color of your homescreen launcher, to the launcher itself can be changed and modified at will, so too how you answer calls (you remember that’s what these are for, right?).

You see XDA Member seneca88 has created an innovative way to screen your calls via gesture. The app is named (appropriately) Answer Call by Gesture and allows the user to customize how you answer (or don’t answer) calls through the use of customizable on-screen swipes. According to seneca88:

This app makes use of gesture as privacy protection. You can have secret gestures to answer or reject the phone and no other people can do so. Besides, you may choose what kind of information will be shown on the calling screen, such as:
- Caller photo
- Caller name
- Caller Nickname
- Caller organization
- Caller organization Title

More than that, you can apply the control to all incoming calls or only to those contact persons you have selected for protection.

The app is amazing for those wanting a new way to screen their calls, so head on over to the thread here or download the app.
