There are many parts in an Android rom port package. You have to make sure that everything is properly set up or you will end up with a non booting rom. With this in mind, XDA member l1q1d has taken on the task to make a one stop application to help you prep everything in your zImage, default, and even your nbh prior to flashing. The best part is that it is written in Python, which makes it unique due to cross platform compatibility (Mac, Linux, or Windows).
If you feel the need to modify the rom to suit your needs, take the app out for a spin and make sure that you report any bugs back to the dev.
This is a preliminary release of atools. With this application you can:
- download and edit latest nbh
- download latest zImage and configure your default.txt
- Install system, install updates, backup data, backup system, clean data, partition sd card (only if there is only fat32 partition on it)
- Change keymapping for vogue/Polaris/kaiser (still on develop)
And much more
THIS IS AN ALPHA RELEASE AND I NEED HELP TO FINISH CODE AND WRITE GUIDES.
You can find more information in the application thread.

A while back, we posted an article that talked about an application for putting your personal touch on the Android NBH files prior to flashing. This was created by XDA member loserskater and since then, he has released a few updates with the latest being 4.0. Aside from the list of updates that he has implemented over the last few months, this latest incarnation of the program was completely re-written using Python, which according to the dev, should make the app much better regardless of the system being used.
The dev mentions that he is looking for feedback, so make sure that you drop by the thread and leave some feedback.
Thanks to l1q1d for lighting the fire and doing the initial coding.
Converted everything over to python which means that it should run on all systems a LOT better.
Kaiser users: Added ability to set ‘/sys/module/board_kaiser_battery/parameters/battery_capacity’ manually instead of calculating it from the mAh.
Hopefully fixed Ubuntu and Mac problems.
– Need separate files because the “reading” system wasn’t working correctly.
– It will now set everything as defaults when opening any file.
– I’ll try to make this work better, but for now it at least opens.
Now made it unable to overwrite the file you’re opening. This will prevent errors on save that some people are experiencing.
Changed Kaiser battery settings again. Still use the mAh on the battery.
Hopefully it should be reading it better now.
Altered battery setting for Kaiser.
-Now uses (value * 1.6) instead of just the value.
-Will hopefully have better battery readings.
(Not sure if this is the correct formula so let me know. Always taking input from others experiences)

After a period of hiatus, an update for the Android port for Vogue/Kaiser/Polaris made by XDA member incubus26jc has just been released. As with every version of this port, the update brings a myriad of updates and fixes as well as the usual smoothness, stability, and speed that you can only expect in these ports. RLS13 features the boot image of the Droid eye, but with a twist… incubus26jc has rendered it green, so while it looks different than usual, it goes very well with the rest of the theme that he used for it. If you have one of the aforementioned devices and are itching to use Android, give it a go.

XDA member mnjm9b brings us a nice little tool that will allow us to put our own roms together for the Android port for the HTC Vogue. The tool can also be used by the HTC Kaiser and the Polaris as well since they share the same ports. The utility is for Ubuntu but the dev says that it may work for other Linux distros as well. You need to have the zImage that you want to flash onto the device. It is really a simple utility to use and can help aspiring cooks to compile their builds in a seamless manner.
NBHCreator v 0.2b
NBHCreator makes the nbh file for flashing android to nand.
This utility works for Vogue, Polaris and Kaiser.
1. you need to be running Ubuntu (other Debian distros may work, give it a try) NBHCreator v2.0 will be cross-platform
2. you need to have wine installed ( I am using v1.1.42)

This application, created by xda member aman11dhanpat, will let you include a php script into your device whenever you access the website way2sms.com. This will act as a SMS application for your device, but will send the messages via data rather than via your provider’s SMS service, saving you money in the process. The app was tested on an Indian free SMS web service provider.
Even though this is the first version of this tool, we can expect some improvements for upcoming versions.

Hello all guys
this is my very own 1st application
well i started it to program just for my own use but then thought of relesing it might be someone would be using it or get some use of it
well as way2sms.com provides free SMS service all over india so using it and without wasting our money much on SMS
we can send SMS
also i consider myself as a very poor coder cos i am still learning
so to reduce the DATA TRANSFER form way2sms’s site i had made a simple PHP script which will act as an intermediate for sending the SMS
i assure you that none of your DATA or personal information is saved
i’ll shortly relese the Source as well as the PHP script so that you can use it on your own website
ok so here are some of its screen shots
Some times gets hanged
Tested only on qvga only (need someone to test on other models too)
SMS bBomber is still being programmed so may be lag sometimes
Phone numbers must be edited manually(means you have to remove +91 or 0 from your number to send message manually)
as usual no search option while adding contacts
no Beta testers till now
