XDA member microfi has updated this big collection of skins for Nitrogen player on Windows Mobile devices. [SKINS] Skins for Nitrogen 0.3+

Check out the WMSkins.com official category for Nitrogen! You may continue posting here, of course, but it would be awesome to have a skin gallery as they offer on their site. So, consider registrating there (won’t take more than 2 min) and post your work there!

SKINS ONLY!!!
Let’s make this thread as clean as possible! Please just post here the skins/mods you’ve designed for Nitrogen 0.3+! If you have questions/requests/comments to make, please post them on this thread or PM the author!

Click here to download the Skin Toolbox, a utility to make skins for Nitrogen 0.3!
This page will contain skins for the MP3 Player Nitrogen 0.3 and later versions. Let’s make this a skin gallery: each post containing a skin, with the output generated by the Skin Exporter utility. If you designed a skin and like to share it, export it as ZIP file and post it here with a screenshot!
More details on how to use the Skin Toolbox (tutorials, FAQ, etc. will be coming soon!).
Note: it’s highly recommended to provide the SKPROJ file along with the skin. This way, other users can provide mods and adapt to their resolutions! To do that, please leave the option “Include source in ZIP file” checked, on the Skin Exporter utility.

Please drop by the skins collection thread for more information.

Some time ago we drew your attention to the initial release of Anuvadak, a very handy Google-based translation app for Windows Mobile. Since then, the application has matured to version 1.1.1; having been given new features and tweaks along the way.

In the newest version of Anuvadak, you’ll find support for QVGA, WQVGA and HVGA resolution devices, along with support for Japanese and Korean translation, and the ability to choose a different icon for the application. One of the most useful additions is that the application will now show dictionary items (for example, ‘noun’, ‘pronoun’, ‘adverb’) within the translation to make it easier to understand.

Bundled with these changes are improvements to Anuvadak’s memory usage and general improvements to the user experience. You can download the app to try it for yourself in its original thread.

I´m sure that many of you already uses/have pre installed UAC when you upgrade ROMs (we have many ORD syndrome members). For those of you who want to make things easier when reflashing, XDA member moonscapex presents this tool.
This application has just been released to Developers and Chefs, so that they can include it on their future upgrades. The app has some pre loaded software such as Opera Mobile, Mini, and GrooveMobile among others. Moreover, it can run in Windows Mobile 5 and up and it´s multi resolution.

APP]ROM Customization Wizard (RELEASED)

Overview:
This started as a project for my ROM, for the HTC Diamond CDMA, but since many people like it I have decided to release it to all ROM creators.

The ROM Customization Wizard is an EXE file that runs on WM5.0 – WM6.5.x devices. It allows you to choose exactly what applications you want in your ROM on first boot, without the need of an Internet connection.
The wizard guides you through software categories, for example Media, Games, Internet, Themes, etc. It allows you to choose to install all applications individually or skip an entire group. The app can also run an EXE when it is complete, customized by the ROM developer (If you don’t know how to write applications, I can write one for you to display a message).
After that, it will soft reset your device.
To add to this, there is a small review of each aplication before installing.

You can find more information in the application thread.

More boot screens with the Windows Phone 7 style are presented by XDA member emse_186, now updated to cover all resolutions.
Blue, orange, black and green can be found in different combinations like the black version original logo without sound, green version with sound, and orange without sound just to mention some.
Step in and choose one of this great boot screens for your Windows Mobile device.
Unfortunately, the developer decided to stop working on this project.

The ever-growing, ever-changing nature of Facebook, the world’s most popular social networking site, means that developers of associated applications have to release updates very often. One such app, Facebook Instant Messenger for Windows Mobile, has recently been refined to encompass the most recent additions to the website.

Although the changes are fairly minor, the constant developing attention focussed by XDA member blutz upon the application and the usefulness of the program itself make it worth taking a look at. Originally designed to allow smartphone users to use the site’s instant messaging capabilities on the move, the app has since grown and now supports status updates, notification and message indicators and mobile picture and video uploads. Facebook Instant Messenger even includes a CHome (Windows Titanium/Standard layout) plugin so that you can access your news feed without even launching a separate window.

You can give the application a try by following the download link in the application thread.

The 2010 World Cup has been keeping people very interested around the world, and many developers have presented their applications to be informed about its progress while on the move. This time we´ll speak about a Windows Phone 7 themed application presented by XDA member Spoofy. The UI has been carefully detailed to fit a WP7 look, nice and fluid graphics will let you navigate through different tabs like News, groups list, country and group detailed statistics, calendar, and players bio just to mention a few.
Updated version v0.2 has been tested in QVGA resolution but should work also in W(VGA) running Windows Mobile 6 and up.

Agenda

Depending on how long you have had WM devices, you will have to agree with the fact that many of them have not changed neither in style nor functionality. Tasks, which is part of Outlook allows you to schedule tasks, write notes, among other things without actually setting them up in the calendar. Despite the relative usefulness and versatility of this app, it was never too popular because of the unfriendliness to create, schedule, or even delete entries. XDA member Tumys decided to re-work this application and released a new version based on SenseSDK to give the app a brand new look and feel. This is meant to replace the Task application in your device and make your life easier when setting them up. While there are no major issues reported with it, feel free to leave a comment in the dev’s thread.

SenseTasks is an application to manage your Outlook Tasks

This application intends to replace the original Windows Mobile task application, utilizing the SenseSDK to create a HTC Sense Look and Feel.

I created this application because the Windows Mobile task application is not very finger-friendly to use. Furthermore, the WM application didn’t allow me to create new tasks on my HTC HD Mini with Windows Mobile 6.5.3. After experimenting with eboelzner’s SenseSDK, I decided to create this application.

Many thanks to eboelzner for creating the fantastic SenseSDK!
