If you own a Sprint Samsung Intercept and were one of the excited owners to receive the FroYo update, only to find that your device is bricked, XDA forum member Whosdaman has posted a fix from Sprint.
The new update.zip and full instructions on how to fix the issues as a result of the Android OS update are all available in the link provided by the XDA member.
As well as the usual flashing process, the instructions advise removing and replacing the battery before entering Recovery.
For the fix to work, you must have FroYo already installed on your Samsung Intercept.

And the party continues as guests keep on arriving to xda-developers. This time we are introducing two whole new brands to our line up of fora, Tablets nonetheless. The Notion Ink Adam and the Huawei Ideos S7 are two of the latest tablets in the market and seem to be picking up steam, quite rapidly. So, in order to not get behind, we decided to give them a home. As for the third device added today, this is a bit more of a classic device. The Samsung Intercept is not new by any means but it certainly packs a punch and has quite a broad user base, so we decided to get it on board as well.
Do you think that we have enough devices to play with yet? I didn’t think so. Stay tunned for more as the year is not over yet and we are still growing :).
