XDA member MonsterMash was pretty fed up with the inability to use the accelerometer included in the Xperia X2 as the phone only allowed certain apps to use this feature. The dev decided to take action and created X2AccelerometerUtility for this device. Basically, the app will allow the user to tell the device which apps are to take advantage of this by allowing the listing of the apps that will use rotation. The app also allows the user to turn the accelerometer on and off completely, just in case.
The dev mentions that the app may work for other devices as well, but that needs testing. So, if you are up for it, take it for a spin (no pun intended) and make sure that you leave some feedback.
i made this little application to menage the accelerometer on the SonyEricsson Xperia x2.
As you surely know, on the x2 accelerometer works only for a limited number of applications. And in most device, it’s simply disabled at all…
With this app you can:
- Enable / Disable accelerometer
- Select the applications you want to rotate using the accelerometer

The HD2, Droid, and other new devices have made pocket flashlight very popular with the masses, and the X2 owners can now enjoy this. In a not so recent post by XDA member TrashKalmar, he created a new way to light up your world. This application is very simple all you have to do is install and enjoy.
I have found this sort of applications very useful in my daily life. I use my HD2 flashlight to get around the house at 12 AM while people try to sleep, make people mad at movie theaters, and more.
Simple application to use your camera flash LED as pocket torch.
Hope, will be usefull.
- Added option to turn on the light on program startup
