If you are tired with so many Google-Android news, heres a breather. Our friend, XDA member zarpy presents another option on his series of simple graphic games for Windows Mobile. Just think of SuperMeatBoy:Saws of Death as a crossover between any classic Nintendo/Sega 2D platforming game. This is not your typical new video game, where everything is based on how well a polygon or a pixel looks. This game goes back to basics and brings you back to a 2D cartoonish world that makes you feel like you are playing a retro-based video game. You need to save SuperMeatBoy´s girlfriend from various dangers across 5 regular levels and a final boss stage. The game only works for devices with WVGA resolutions.

Ok, this is nothing similar in graphics to the original game but it´s a first attempt to have an action game for our Windows Mobile devices. XDA member zarpy presents Angry Birds Windows Mobile Adventure, a simple graphics side-scrolling where you play as the red bird. The goal is to avoid the pigs and collect the birds, if you can survive collecting 100 birds you get to see the ending. No doubt a fun game worth trying, only for WVGA devices.
Please leave your feedback.

Although many of the site’s games developers have now turned to Android when planning their latest releases, there are still some going strong on the Windows Mobile front.
One such developer, XDA member zarpy, has recently released a brand new game for the platform – Tiny Wings Bounce. The addictive adventure sees you in control of a bird who’s too fat to fly properly, and instead relies on its ability to bounce in order to get around.
Tiny Wings Bounce was developed for Windows Mobile devices with a WVGA resolution screen. It features background music and sound effects, along with the option to save your high score so that you always have a challenge.
You can pick the game up for yourself by d. . . READ ON »

Whether you have religious motives or not to celebrate Easter, one can only help but to wonder what to do in order to get into the whole spirit, particularly if you have children. Well, if that was the case, your prayers have been heard because XDA member lnando84 has prepared a theme for Sense for Windows Mobile devices equipped with Cookie’s Home Tab 2.0. The theme includes Easter eggs for the different icons, bunnies, and as much candy and chocolate as you can swipe your finger on. There are various items to tinker with along with some very nice backgrounds. All in all, Happy Easter!
Have you tried this on your device yet? Please share some feedback if you have.

We have many applications for reading your favorite forums (meaning: XDA ;)), but what about our dear old friend Windows Mobile? XDA member TeDeV has updated the forum reading app RapidRead, which has been downloaded by more than 2000 members so far. The latest beta version fixes some minor bugs and adds the option to login and post, favorites don’t get duplicated anymore, and the beta period extends to 1/6/2011. Working on WM 6.5.x.
The developer is looking for members to help create a new icon for the application. So, if you have the skills, please make sure that you drop the dev a line.

Do you still use Windows Mobile as your main platform? Then, it´s time for a new look on your device and all you need to have is Throttle Launcher. XDA member Trekfan422991 presents Lacuna, an interesting minimal style theme that will change the look of your home screen. At the moment, it´s only available for WVGA and WQVGA resolutions but the developer mentions that future versions will include QVGA and VGA as well. You can also find two animated boot screens to match your new theme.
Please share your thoughts on the original thread.

There are several tweaks and mods for the powerhouse also known as the HTC HD2. However, one of the most popular ones (aside from CHT) is Touch Tools, which just happened to receive a much deserved update. XDA member lyriquidperfection has just released a new set of tools that will allow the user to apply, in a rather simple manner, many tweaks and mods to the Windows Mobile platform, most of which are only accessible via registry. Some of the tools included are Pinch to Zoom Manager, Boot Manager, System Viewer, HotKey Utility, and several others. each one of these will allow you to fully customize any part of the OS that you feel is lacking some of your personal touches, all that without having to touch the registry y. . .
