Tested and flying on my HD, HD2, Omnia II, Glofiish M700, Touch Pro2[Rhodium], BlueAngel[PDA2K].

This time i have made single cab[sipConfig.cab] with Schap`s voip setup inbuilt. Hopefully 3g option will work with this cab as i have changed few settings. Tweaked is home screen item selection[select thru Available and selected to make cellular call or sip/voip call{one have to use classic home screen to do this}]. This cab is GSM codec based unlike previous cabs hence very low bandwidth is required to place calls, Can be used to make calls over GPRS but not sure. Quality of calls is .99/1 and no dropouts and one can call as long as credit available in account. What else, as this cab will integrate into phone system, it is very easy to use with addressbook, etc. I have attached audioswitch out file which if installed comes into action[can hear from earpiece] 13 seconds after phone window is active on screen, doesn`t matter calling or recieving. I have also attached SRS file just in case if someone hear less/low volume from earpiece just follow the instructions attached. Also attaced is Wifi always on file which some HD2 users need. Also 5060 port has been enabled in these cabs but you may need to forward 5060UDP port in your router for possible two way communication. Hopefully you guys like this cab, Please leave comments and suggestions. Thanks
Credits to developers.

*Most of the bugs has been fixed discussced in previous cabs.
Previous Cabs can be found here

Are you still in love with Windows Mobile? This useful application, developed by XDA member JVH3 will let you add the Facebook pics to Outlook contacts on your device as the HTC UI only adds the pictures to your contacts but not in outlook. The latest version is fully skinnable and the images now fill the whole space. You need to have Sense 2.5 for this app to work. The developer recommends to make sure you sync with Facebook before running it.
Please leave some feedback if you liked the application.

Fully skinnable.
Images now fill the whole space.
And the potential for the initial contact crash is fixed.
And the skinning can use pngs with transparency.
And it should be installable to the storage card now.

I developed an app to add the facebook pic to outlook contacts.

Sense 2.5 automatically adds images to your device to be used for your contacts in Sense.

But, the image is not added to your outlook contacts.

I went through the threads that it suggested before creating this thread.

If you like this app, please use the Thanks feature of the site.

And of course donations are always appreciated;

TTM part2 dead space

XDA member zarpy presents this simple funny game for your Windows Mobile device. Free Dead Space is a classic game in where you need to maintain yourself alive when trapped on a space station until help comes to get you. Get ranks and advance on the levels gaining points but beware, enemies will come to you faster and faster every level. These are some tips recommended by the developer:

1) When the enemies land on the ground they move towards you. So if you haven’t fired a shot move quickly out the way.
2) When your rookie status changes to killer the enemies move faster. Sometimes fire shots in between moving back and forth.
3) Try to look for patterns in the enemy movements , it helps later on when they are coming faster.

This game is working only on WVGA devices. If you liked it, please leave some feedback.

RSSTab for HTC Sense Updated

February 1, 2011   By:

bf7847f7db36b23ebb05e6f6503cb21c

It’s been a while since meltwater‘s much-requested RSSTab for HTC Sense (Windows Mobile) hit the web, and it has evolved considerably in the mean time.

The omission of an RSS-displaying Sense tab was always a relatively unfathomable move by HTC: one would expect that among the easy-to-access Twitter feeds and e-Books, the option to check up on RSS feeds would not be far away. However, it was not until meltwater’s mod that users could realistically find RSS information on their Windows Mobile Sense interface.

Improvements included in the updated modification are refreshed graphics and the extremely useful ability to install the tab from a .cab, as opposed to the somewhat tricky process of manually adding the Manila files.

Give the RSS tab a try by downloading it and following the instructions from this thread.

locoicons

XDA member MichelDiamond presents this interesting add on for your Windows Mobile device that will let you have your updated GPS location in Cookie Home Tab 2 by detecting via GSM-CellTowers. This probably will be on your device already but if  it´s not, it is worth to have. The developer mentions that no additional battery drain in Lookup mode since cell towers don’t need a GPS or Internet Connection to get these numbers. Working only for GSM devices using CHT2.
You can also find on the original thread some great sets of original icons to personalize your device called loco icons.

CHTSLoca is an easy-to-use-App, which can detect your Location because of GSM-CellTowers and display them as CHT-Icon.
Later (not now) this will be extended with other location awareness things and is also responsible then for switching profiles because of current Location in CHTS.

For now: It displays in a very nice way your locations. Here you see the Screenshot of the Main configuration page of CHTSLoco and besides a resizeable Freelink in CHT

Theme The Matrix for WM

January 4, 2011   By:

matrix2r

The well known movie of The Matrix makes its way to your Windows Mobile device. XDA member sponge_worthy presents this full theme for Sense with Cookie Home Tab 2, psShutXP, S2U2, and Thumbcal with dialer and wallpapers included. This was tested on the Rhodium but should work on any WVGA device with an exception on the dialer, which is having some bugs in other devices. We know MS is trying to kill WM but there are still many members using it and some of them will prefer it over other operating system options because its capability of personalization stuff and its simplicity. So probably, we will have WM for a while!.

Ok. I’m polishing off my Matrix theme. I have most of it done, but tweaking some things here and there. I hopefully will release most of it by Friday.

First off is the dialer. I will say that I have a Tilt2(Rhodium) and cannot test on other devices. I currently use an Energy Rom with Co0kie Home Tab 2.0 installed. The dialer works for me and I hope it works for you. My other themes seem to have a problem with the dialer for the HD2(Leo). I’m trying to work those problems out with some other users, but this cab might work for you.

Finally, don’t hold me responsible if something goes wrong with your phone. Like I said, it all works for me on my Tilt2.

Enjoy.

xdafacebook.2

If you are a Facebook socialite and cannot be without reading everything about your friends, XDA member joe_coolish has a fix for your addiction. XDAFacebook for Windows Mobile has been updated to version 4.5, which brings in a very interesting new functionality, unique to this app (in Windows Mobile, that is). Places/Checkins will allow you not only to share your thoughts and pictures but also your location worldwide. The app makes use of the GPS features in your device (if present) and share your coordinates with the rest of the world. Think about the regular Facebook app and Google Latitude having son if you can’t picture what this app does.

There are other improvements on the app as well, so please leave some feedback for the dev and for the continued work on this app.

BETA 4.5!

  • Places/Checkins! Yep, the only Facebook client for Windows Mobile to support Checkins and places! Just know that GPS data is sent to Facebook when you use the Checkin portion of the client. Some devices may experience lag!
    • IMPORTANT! In order to use the new Places features, you must Logout and then log back into XDAFacebook. This will cause you to authorize XDAFB to use the Place APIs. I recommend using the External Browser login method to do this.
  • Landscape Support! I’ve tried to implement as much of the app with landscape compatibility. There still are some things that aren’t 100% (eg, dropdowns) but they are in the works! If you find something that doesn’t look right in landscape, feel free to bring it up!
  • Bug Fixes: A couple of key bugs were fixed. One of which is the old graphics cropping up every once in a while.
  • I also added a First Time message that will display key features with each release upon first install.
  • Finally I added a donate button in the About menu. Feel free to test it all you’d like!

You can find more information in the application thread.

If you have an HTC Leo but don´t have an Android ROM on it, maybe you would like to have a different lock screen with an Android style. XDA member Zephnath presents AndroidLock, this application will let you have useful information on your locked screen with a different look. The updated version 1.3 includes some new features and fixes like added support for Energy Roms, support for all HD2 ROMs, fixed appointments list going off screen, refined the slider images to look more like the actual Android slider, developer kit, and add-ons.
This app was tested on Omnia 2 as well and may work on other devices as well, please let us know.

Most ROMs now supported. Just install the cab and the enjoy.

*****Warning, ROMs based off 29005 are not supported. Something with the system file on the ROM causes the lock screen to act erratically if the Lock Screen registry keys are modified. It is not only Energy ROMs, but is any ROM using 29005 as the ROM base. If you are a 29005 User, you can try this cab which could be a possible fix Ninja Duck 29005 cab (I have not tested this, use at your own risk), otherwise DO NOT install.*****

MulKeyTouch-1

Who said Windows Mobile is dead? A lot of members are still using it. XDA member TangoChen presents MulkeyTouch, an application for resistive screens that will let you have multi touch on your WM device. You’ll get three points:

1. Fixed Point – When you put your First finger on the screen.
2. Real Point – It is truly detected by the hardware when two fingers are put.
3. Fake Point – When you place your second finger the position is detected by the application.

For example, you can hold Shift key and press any letters key at the same time to input capital letters but you can’t press two letters keys at the same time.
The application is on development stage, so bugs are expected but please leave feed back so it can be improved on future versions.
