If you’d like to replace the boot animation or splash screen on your HTC EVO, but are not quite sure how to implement this, take a look at HTC EVO Boot Replacer.
Created by XDA forum member amoamare, the tool is for Windows PC users and will replace the boot animation on your EVO Android device for you automatically, bypassing the need for adb command knowledge.
HTC EVO Boot Replacer will back up the boot animation as ‘bootanimation-backup.zip’ and requires root on your EVO.
