While the majority of the top apps have already incorporated Google's newest design language, there are still very many apps that are in need of some Material Design love. Which apps do you think are most desperately in need of an update?
View Contact Pictures in Style with InfiniteView Mod
If you own a Sony Ericsson Xperia device, you’ve surely noticed your contact pictures getting stretched or cut off in the contacts app. While it doesn’t exactly cause any functionality loss, it definitely spoils the aesthetics of the interface. Luckily, you can now fix this issue and even apply a slick gradient to your contact pictures with the InfiniteView Contact Picture Mod.
This mod was created by XDA Forum Member AeonWorld, who shared it with us here on XDA. As you can see, the mod makes the contact pictures large squares. It is recommended to use a Facebook sync app to pull high-res pictures of your contacts for better results. The gradient variant of the mod adds a nice grey gradient to the bottom half of the pictures, as you can see in the title image.
You can find the download links and instructions in the forum thread.

There's also new information about more applications and system interface features revealed in the same thread: The alleged S6 statusbar and panel are ported to the...
