There are many translation applications out there for Windows Mobile devices, and sometimes it’s even easier just to use Google to do the translation for you. But this is where Anuvadak shines through – it has a lot of features to offer.
XDA forum member chargedRam, has been working on Anuvadak (which means ‘Translator’ in Hindi) for a long time and has now released version 1.0 of his application.
Deriving its’ functionality from Google’s translation services, Anuvadak offers the following features:
- Attractive UI
- Text to speech translation enabled (not all languages)
- Romanisation of all supported languages (beta)
- Copy translation
- Send translation by SMS
- Google like instant translation (beta)
Additionally users can click on any past translations and re-translate via sub menus.
Future developments include speech to text translation.
