Perhaps the applications and development for Windows Mobile is not as active as it used to be but it´s far from dead. XDA member ExtremeGTX presents HeadsetService, -only 4KB in memory- which allows you to control your favorite music player with your wired Headset Button. Players supported by the application are Windows Media Player, Audio Manager, Core Player, Nitrogen, S2P, Touch Player (Omnia i900 SMPlayer), and Touch Player (Omnia II). The app works for devices of various resolutions using WM6.1 and later. The app features Answer incoming call, option for device to be locked, Native Code (Fast Execution) and press speed changeable, amongst many others. The developer warns that if you have an HTC Device, DON’T Install, bugs present have not fixed yet, HTC Version still in the LAB for Development.
