If you’ve read our recent article on the pretty neat BIOS-like boot animation for Android but couldn’t find anything similar for your Windows Mobile phone, then look no further!
The original boot package by Wajk works on QVGA, VGA and WVGA devices and includes a BIOS animation accompanied by the nostalgic soundtrack of system beeps and a whirring hard drive. The package has recently been updated, now adding the option of a ‘no sound’ version while speeding the animation up for more capable devices. Find it in this thread.
Elsewhere on the site, members have created device-specific BIOS splash screens and animations.
Srctcwlvl‘s BIOS boot splash and animation are designed solely for the Raphael and include the device’s specs during the sequence. You can download them from this thread. Jeckyll has made a similar sequence, this time for the HD2, and can be found here._________
