chaosHUD for WP7
Posted December 1, 2010 at 12:00 am by orb3000
The first nice applications with the WP7 unlocker by Chevron are starting to pop up. XDA member chaoscentral presents chaosHUD for Windows Phone 7. This application will let you know your current speed, wind direction and the time on a clear complete screen with black back ground. This app will work also in HUD mode, which is simply a way to use it on reverse view (you can look it on a mirror).
The developer announced that this beta will be available for free to test until December 12th, after that date the app will be automatically unshared and deleted, so hurry up and grab it and please leave feed back.

[APP][BETA]chaosHUD – Runs through 12/12/2010
I have recently made what I feel is a pretty decent HUD application, however I don’t have a device to properly test it on. I figured with the Chevron unlocker out allowing sideloading I could post my xap and allow people to test it to see whether or not it functions.
If all works as planned then I do plan on releasing it on the market for free, so take what is posted here as more of a beta. Please leave some feedback as to what actually happens, the more detailed the better.
This beta will run till 12/12/2010, at that point the file will be automatically unshared and deleted. So please download and give feedback.
About the application:
This is just a basic heads up display application with a bit more info than the ones that I was seeing on the market. It displays your current Speed, direction and time in both regular display and a HUD mode(where it flips the image vertically). To enable hud mode simply tap the screen. To switch back, just tap the screen once more. This application makes use of the GPS for speed and direction, and the internal system clock for the time.
You can find more information in the application thread.
