East Asian Fonts Support for Windows Mobile

From time to time we go back in time on the XDA world to get you an article that probably have not seen but may be of interest for some members. This time, we write about the work of XDA member Xyam, who made possible to have support for East Asian fonts on Windows Mobile devices. Now you can view Chinese, Japanese and Korean display well on your screen, just install the cab provided on the original thread and re start.
The developer tested this on Xperia X2 with WM6.5.3, but should work on other versions as well.

i’ve made a cab to view chinese, japanese and korean for windows mobile (tested on my Xperia X2 WM6.5.3 and should be working fine with other versions). just install the and do a soft reset. if you want to input chinese, i suggest using baidu input, plumsip or qq pinyin.
if you face difficulties in reading emails and browsing using ie, you may also need to install to have the necessary code pages. ce star is using old wince.nls so please do NOT use ce star for your device or you will brick it. since wm6.5.3, the codes pages are no longer saved in registry but in wince.nls. the wince.nls is extracted from a taiwan rom (wm6.5.3) of x2.
please remember to do a full backup before installing the cabs!!
Continue to the application thread.
