XDA member yossio brings us his application to stream the songs from Eurovision into Windows Mobile devices. As I am not from Europe, I had to do some research to find out what this app is about and this is what I found:
Each member country submits a song to be performed on live television and then casts votes for the other countries’ songs to determine the most popular song in the competition. Each country participates via one of their national EBU-member television stations, whose task it is to select a singer and a song to represent their country in the international competition.
This app will allow you to listen and keep tabs on your favorite singers and songs from the competition. But for the most part it is also a guessing game to try and determine information such as artist, year, etc. Currently in version 0.2, the dev just released this small update which addresses a small issues.
- Scores are updated automatically now in YosSoft website.
- the app requires TCPMP to play the stream. if you don’t have it, the app downloads and installs it.
You can find more information in the application thread.
