XDA member lagbaja‘s Bible reading application for Windows Phones has gained many followers due to its ease of use and the fact that it’s absolutely free, unlike many of its competitors. Recently, the app was updated to version 0.5, and while still in its beta stages of development, it is now noticeably more stable and feature-rich than its original release.
The Finger-friendly Bible App offers a very convenient solution to the problem of having to carry a several-thousand page book around with you if you want to read the Bible on the move. Designed for touchscreen devices, the software provides easy-to-navigate menus and a comprehensive list of included text. Also available are the abilities to search and alter translation options for different sections of the Book.
The update brings fixes to the stability of the app along with support for the Microsoft Gesture system. You can download it in the application thread.
