Since screensavers do not come default with Windows Mobile devices, XDA forum moderator l3v5y has written one for all touchscreen WM devices.
It’s a simple application that runs in the background and l3v5y makes use of gestures such that swiping down the screen hides the screensaver, and swiping up closes it. If you are running lower than WM6.5, then at the time of writing, there is no close option as yet. A tap will, however minimise the screensaver.
When your phone is plugged in via ActiveSync or mains, ScreenSaver pops to the foreground and displays the time (based off the device settings) and notifications such as new emails, missed calls and SMS.
l3v5y’s screensaver also supports wallpapers.
Requires WM6.5+, touchscreen only.
