New HTC Sense on WP7 or not?

HTC Sense is taking a relevant place in Android and not even Google itself will be able to stop it despite their attempts to get a perfect interface. However, Windows Phone 7 doors are closed, and at most give rise to a “hub” designed by HTC for functionality and software.

A few weeks ago, a video of the new HTC sense was leaked. Whether or not this is the final version, you can see that the video gives an interesting idea of what may come soon.

What we see in the previous video, called HTC Confidential, may have been done by someone with a lot of time, or it may be a concept of HTC’s own work, so we cannot confirm anything about it. Some ideas are nice, throwing a lot of animations and 3D graphics. Microsoft made it clear that the basis of the system would not be touched, so what HTC will bring to its services and applications of Sense is nothing short of a mystery.

Peter Chou, founder and Chief Executive Officer of High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) declared that “Initially, we don’t have time to bring things on top of that,”,“But over time we will innovate on top of that to provide some HTC experience” and later “I don’t think we would do complete Sense UI on Windows Phone 7,” “However, I will say that we will innovate differently to improve the experience and to get some HTC unique and differentiated experience on Windows Phone 7 in the future“.
So, the question remains in the air. Will the new HTC Sense arrive to Windows Phone 7 or not? Most likely an XDA Developer could start on porting to HTC devices in the future as we have seen it in the past with so many applications, and UI´s that at the end are even better than the originals.

Another interesting service presented back in September is the new HTCSense.com, an enhanced experience that will let you backup and remotely locate / wipe HTC devices. HTCSense.com is a series of dashboard-connected services for backup, security, and control of your HTC handset, no doubt a great complement for our devices.

Let´s see what surprises we see in the near future regarding one of the most impresive UI´s in mobile technology’s history.
Please leave your comments, thanks.
