NoDo Windows Phone 7 Build Leaked!

Well, for those of you that decided to take the plunge and get into Windows Phone 7, only to find tons of basic functionality disabled or not present, it seems that your prayers are being heard by the powers at Microsoft. According to a tip from XDA moderator ceesheim, XDA member Football has released a leaked rom RUU from the HTC Schubert, which apparently includes the long and awaited NoDo, which stands for “No Donut” (Microsoft’s attempt at taking a cheap shot against Android, I guess). In any case, it has been confirmed by the people who have been able to flash this that it does indeed includes this functionality, as the build is Copy and Paste enabled. The rom seems to be flashable to other devices as well, but by no easy means. For instance, in order to flash to the HD7 and the Touch Pro 7, it seems that you need a generic (unbranded) version of the device, on top of a special USB cable and a gold card (remember, that this rom is intended for a different device, so don’t expect any free lunch coming from Microsoft).

Have you flashed this yet? If so, please share your experiences and any bugs that you may be running into (or not). Also, feedback in that thread will be rather important for people venturing into flashing a WP7 for the first time, so please leave some behind.

Here new RUU for Schubert with NoDo update

Enjoy!

Build 7355-89
