XDA member Thisisatest3, has recently posted about a very useful app for phones containing a G-sensor, which was originally created by X86Shadow.
When activated, Flip2Mute will automatically perform a certain action when the accelerometer detects that the phone has been flipped upside-down. Depending on your choice, the app will either silence the phone’s ringer, set it to vibrate or simply switch the screen off to save power.
All of these functions can be very useful when you decide you don’t want to be disturbed by your phone’s ringer but don’t want the hassle of having to change settings on the phone.
The app also features an attractive user interface based on the Sense SDK, and should work on most WVGA resolution Windows Mobile devices.
You can find more information on the application thread._________
