With the introduction of the Android platform, Windows Mobile seems to be fading away. If you have an HD2 running Android, you probably remember the days of using Cookies Home Tab to spice up your Windows Mobile experience. XDA members Nordpolcamper & Dunc001 have not forgotten the WinMo community and have continued the development of CHT Widgets, bringing users SimClock.
Originally posted by Nordpolcamper The SimClock Widget comes in 4 Layouts. These Layouts define the appearance of the Date text. That alone of course isn’t it.With SimClock, you can choose to resize the background of the widget, extending it up to the entire height of your screen, but without changing the size of the clock. This will allow you to really personalize the look of your home screen. That however, is not the “really cool stuff.” When pressing the time or date on your widget, a QuickPanel will open up letting you choose an action out of five options:
- World Clock
- Calendar Tab
Choosing one of the actions listed will bring you to the corresponding tab. Through this menu and by following the instructions in the OP, you can even change the color of all components in your widget.
If you are still running Windows Mobile CHT2, this widget is a must to add a personal touch to your phone. Visit the original thread for more details._________
