There are many people out there who find the soothing sound of music a good way to help them sleep. And what better way to listen to your music than through a head set, a bluetooth device, or just the phone itself?
Having said that, what happens when you fall asleep? Your phone media player is still active, repeating the playlist while draining your battery. XDA member PicHunter is developing of an app to fix this. The app SleepTimer is still in the beta stages, but can still be downloaded for testing. It currently supports a lot of different media players and is an app worth looking at.
This app is an simple sleep timer.
You can choose 5 to 120 minutes which automatically closes your running media player.
- Manila player
Currently not supported, but in work:
- HTC FM Radio
- Slacker Radio
You can find more information on the application thread.
