Sometimes, it’s the games with the simplest concepts that get us the most hooked. Tap Attack! for Windows Phone 7 hopes to be just such a game, with the developer XDA member babyjustine promising it to be fun, simple to learn, and very addictive.
The game works in a familiar format to other memory games: the player is given one shape and must overturn squares on the screen to locate the card with a shape that matches. As the player progresses through the game, the levels become harder as the player is given less time to make a decision.
Interesting features include a game randomizer, which means that you will almost never play the same game twice, and power-ups hidden throughout the game, which provide the player with help such as slow-motion play and points multipliers.
The game itself is accessible by searching in the Zune Apps Marketplace, both as a free, ad-supported version (the trial is fully functional) and as an ad-free version for a small cost. For more information and support related to the game, visit the developer’s thread.
